CANDLE CARE
Candle Burn Time
To prevent tunnelling and create a beautiful burn memory, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the glass on the first burn. Burn for no longer than four hours at a time and let your candle rest between burns.
Trimming Your Wick
Always trim the wick before relighting. This helps your candle stay alight, burn evenly, and last longer. Gently pinch off the charcoal with a tissue or use wick trimmers before each burn, as built-up charcoal can cause the flame to go out.
Avoid Draughts
Candles burn best in still air. If draughts are unavoidable, gently rotate your candle from time to time to encourage an even burn. Draughts may cause uneven melting or light smoking.
Candle Storage
Store your candles upright, away from direct sunlight and heat. Fragrances containing vanilla may naturally deepen in colour when exposed to light. This is completely normal and does not affect performance.
Extinguishing Your Candle
For the cleanest finish, use a candle snuffer rather than blowing out the flame. This helps keep the wick centred, prevents wax splatter, and supports a longer candle life.
Burn Pool Care
If you notice any dark residue on the inside of the glass, gently wipe it away with a damp cloth once the candle has cooled. This may indicate the wick needs trimming or that the candle has been burning for longer than recommended.
