Founder, maker and the heart behind Moon Goddess Co.
I'm the hands behind the candles, the nose behind the fragrances, the person packing your orders and, more often than not, the one dreaming up the next Moon Goddess idea.
But Moon Goddess didn't begin with a business plan or a perfectly styled studio.
It started in 2016 with an eBay candle-making kit in my mum's kitchen.
What began as curiosity quickly became a creative outlet I couldn't put down. I fell in love with fragrance, the process of making and the simple feeling that comes from lighting a candle and letting everything slow down for a moment.
Nearly ten years later, I'm still creating, experimenting and pouring, only now from my little studio in Flowerdale, Victoria.
And somehow, that little candle kit became all of this.
About Moon Goddess co.
Moon Goddess Co began life as Hayley Renee Soy Candles in Diamond Creek, Victoria.
There was no big launch plan. Just an eBay candle kit, my mum's kitchen and a growing fascination with learning how to create beautiful fragrance.
One candle became another. Then came different scents, vessels, markets, customer orders and plenty of experimenting along the way.
There were successes, plenty of fails, changes of direction and countless lessons learned.
But through all of it, one thing kept bringing me back: the joy of creating something that could become a small part of someone's home and everyday life.

As the products evolved, so did the meaning behind what I was creating.
Hayley Renee Soy Candles had grown beyond candles, and I wanted the brand to represent more than fragrance alone.
Moon Goddess Co became a reflection of what those products had always given me: an invitation to slow down, create a little calm and find moments of enjoyment amongst the everyday chaos.

Life isn't always calm, perfectly organised or beautifully styled.
Mine certainly isn't.
That's exactly why Moon Goddess isn't about creating a perfect life. It's about finding little moments within the one you already have.
